Hello! Today, I’m sharing a CAS watercolored thank you card featuring the Penny Black stamp set 30-418 Stitched Flowers from the BLISS 2017 release.
I stamped the floral image with VersaFine ink on Arches watercolor paper and colored it with watercolors, watercolor pencils, and Distress Inks. Once dry, I stamped the sentiment. I added the panel to a card base which I colored with Distress Inks to match the floral blooms. To finish it off, I added a die-cut frame cut from gray cardstock.

Could you share how you did the blue background or at what point you colored it? Love it!!
Hi Liane, it’s been awhile since I created this card. Here’s what I’m guessing I did – I know I colored the background after I colored the blooms. I probably colored it with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, applying the ink close to the stems and then spreading the ink out.
