Penny Black Spring Decor

Hello! Today I am sharing a spring version of a card I made last fall with Penny Black supplies. You can see the fall version here.

Penny Black Spring Decor

  • I cut the shelf, the white flower, hydrangea stem, and vases with dies in the 51-653 Autumn Decor set.
  • I cut the 51-610 Hydrangea pieces from light-pink cardstock and cardstock to which I had applied Kitsch Flamingo Embossing Glaze.
  • I cut the bird with the 51-657 Wildwood set from cardstock to which I had applied Broken China Embossing Glaze.
  • I cut the garden tools, watering can, smaller flowers, and planter with dies in the 51-510 A Garden set from a variety of cardstock pieces.
  • I adhered the pieces to an A2-size card base on which I had stamped the sentiment from the 30-703 Blooming Sentiments set and applied Distress Inks for the horizon line.

Lawn Fawn Spring Build-A-House Hello

Hello! Today I am sharing a spring-themed card created with Lawn Fawn products. I have shared similar cards here and here. I like cards that feature houses, windows, and fences. One of my favorite pastimes is to look at houses and gardens!

Lawn Fawn Spring Build-A-House Hello

  • I die-cut the Build-A-House and Spring Add-On pieces from cardstock and assembled them.
  • I embossed the background with the Stitched Cloud cover plate. I own the landscape version of the die rather than the portrait version. Luckily the bottom of the sky ended where the grass began!
  • I added a Grassy Border.
  • I masked the Simply Sentiments sentiment and cut it with one of the Simply Puffy Cloud Frame dies.

  • I stamped the Stampin’ Up sentiment on to a triangle cut with the Color Block Slices die set.
  • I added the lighthouse and stamped light ray to a patterned paper background and finished it with a frame cut with the A2 Rectangle Frames set.

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS spring-themed card created with Hero Arts supplies. I shared a similar card here.

Hero Arts Spring Hello

  • I die-cut the watering can and flowers from white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers and colored pencils.
  • I stamped the sentiment, from a retired Hero Arts set and cut it with a small tag die. I tied the sentiment on to the can.
  • I added the assembled can with flowers to the patterned paper background with foam adhesive.
  • I drew a dotted border with a white pigment pen around the edge to add to the homespun feeling of the card.
