Reverse Confetti November Release Countdown to Confetti Day Three

It’s Day Three of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti! Today, Reverse Confetti introduces the Bubbly Tag Toppers Confetti Cuts.

For my first project, I created a celebration tag, cut with the Topped Off Tag set, using a sentiment from With Love and a panel cut with the Bubbly Tag Toppers set.

I finished the tag off with pieces cut with the Hang Ups set and a silver ribbon.

For my second tag, I used the Bubbly Tag Toppers set along with a small scallop banner die in the Gift Card Holder Tag set to hang stockings cut with the Jolly Holiday set.

The With Love sentiment was stamped on the tag, which I cut with the Topped Off Tag set.

Reverse Confetti October Release Countdown to Confetti Day Two

It’s Day Two of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti! Today, Reverse Confetti introduces the Jolly Holiday stamp set with coordinating Confetti Cuts, just in time for holiday paper crafting!

JollyHoliday

For my project, I used one of the ‘Tis the Season Quick Card Panels as a background for the reindeer and Santa from Jolly Holiday.  I heat-embossed the stamp images on cardstock, which I colored with Copic markers and cut with their corresponding Confetti Cuts dies. I also heat-embossed the Ho Ho Ho conversation bubble and cut it with its companion die.

I used the Confetti Cuts to cut additional cardstock onto which I adhered the colored images and the speech bubble to give extra depth. I dry-embossed white cardstock for a snowy ground and finished the card with the Solid Peapod twine.

There are two $15 gift certificates up for grabs – one for blog commenters and one for Facebook commenters. Increase your chance of winning by leaving a comment on each sneak peek post for each designer. Comments will close at noon CST on October 7th and the winner will be announced at 5pm on October 7th on the Reverse Confetti blog and FB page.

Reverse Confetti October Release Countdown to Confetti Day One

It’s Day One of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti! Today, Reverse Confetti introduces the Winter Word Coordinates stamp set with Winter Words Confetti Cuts, just in time for holiday paper crafting!

WinterWordsWreath

For my CAS card, I used the Peace die from Winter Words Confetti Cuts and paired it with a wreath from the Wreaths Confetti Cuts set also being released this month.

I cut the Peace sentiment from gold foil paper. The wreath, flowers and bow were cut from paper which I’d watercolored with Distress Inks. The flowers are part of the Layered Snowflake Confetti Cuts being released and the bow is from the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts set.

I placed a strip of vellum behind the Peace sentiment to give it a little more visibility.

WorldtoMe

I stamped a sentiment from My World onto a white cardstock panel. Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti Day Two

It’s Day Two of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti! Today, Reverse Confetti introduces You Are a Star and Posted Note Sentiments both with coordinating Confetti Cuts.

BelieveLittleThings

I repeatedly stamped one of the sentiments from Posted Note Sentiments set on a white cardstock base in gray pigment ink. I stamped one of the stars from You Are a Star and cut it with its corresponding Confetti Cuts die. I adhered it, along with smaller stars cut from navy cardstock with the same die set, to the card base with dimensional adhesive.

Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti Day Two

It’s Day Two of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti! Today, Reverse Confetti introduces two awesome stamp sets – Circle Sentiments and God is Good. The Circle Sentiments set coordinates with the Scalloped Circle Confetti Cuts.

For my first project, I paired one of the God is Good sentiments with the Sun ‘n Clouds Confetti Cuts and a heart cut with a die in the Love Note set. I masked the card front to stamp and heat emboss “Faith” from the sentiment. Then I masked “Faith” and stamped the rest of the sentiment in black ink.

GodIsGood

I created a gift tag by heat-embossing one of the Circle Sentiments, which I cut with a circle die and adhered to a Scalloped Circle die cut. This is a super easy way to dress up a gift of homemade cookies.

CircleSentimentsScallopedCircle

To create a graduation card, I used another sentiment from Circle Sentiments that I paired with flags, cut with one of the dies in the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts set. I cut the flags from gold cardstock to which I added chipboard letters; I drew the banner string/wire.

Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti Day One

It’s Countdown to Confetti time at Reverse Confetti! There are FIVE stamp sets, SIX Confetti Cuts and “Let’s Celebrate” Quick Card Panels in the May “Birthday Release”!! Today, Reverse Confetti introduces two awesome stamp sets – Monkey Business and Party Hats – both with coordinating Confetti Cuts!

My first project features the stamp set Monkey Business, with its coordinating Confetti Cuts set.

MonkeyBusiness

I used one of the dies in the Shakers ‘n Frames Confetti Cuts set to cut the windows in the polka-dot panel. I stamped the monkey three times and colored the images with Copic makers. The sentiment is heat-embossed.

My next project features a stamped image from Party Hats cut with its coordinating Confetti Cuts set. I combined two of the dies in the Shakers ‘n Frames Confetti Cuts set to make a frame for some Star Garlands. I added Distress Stickles to the stars for a little more sparkle and shine.

Countdown to Confetti Day Three

Welcome to Day Three of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti!  Today, Reverse Confetti introduces the Fancy Word Confetti Cuts with the Fancy Word Coordinates stamps. All of my three projects are celebration-themed.

For my first project, I nested two of the Shakers ‘n Frames Confetti Cuts dies (one of the standalone Confetti Cuts sets in this release) to create a shaker frame to which I attached the birthday die cuts from the Fancy Word Confetti Cuts set.

For the frame interior, I covered one of the “Piña Colada” Quick Card Panels with vellum. The stars, hearts and sequins were cut with the Shakers ‘n Frames Confetti Cuts set out of coordinating cardstock. The coordinating sentiment was stamped directly on the card base.

ShakersnFramesFancyWordsCard

Speaking of celebrations, for my next project, I created a tassel garland with the standalone Tassel Confetti Cuts die.

TasselBanner

With the die, I cut three colors of tissue paper – light aqua, gold and pink. The die cuts through a folded-up sheet of tissue paper creating several tassels at once. I laid out the packets of tassels in the order that I wanted and then placed a cord across them. I folded the tassel packets over the cord and secured them with more cord. It’s an easy way to make custom party decorations! After the string of tassels was complete I did a bit of fluffing.

For my final project today, I combined the Tassel Confetti Cuts die with the Fancy Word Coordinates stamp set.

TasselCard

I cut narrow strips of black cardstock and repeatedly stamped the “let’s celebrate” sentiment with silver pigment ink. (The strips were cut wider than the A2 card base so that I could stagger the words on the card base.) I attached the sentiment strips and trimmed off the excess. I tied the tassels with baker’s twine, secured one in the left-hand corner, wrapped the cord around the card and attached the the other tassel in the right-hand corner.

Countdown to Confetti Day Two

Welcome back to Day Two of the Countdown to Confetti. Today Reverse Confetti is introducing the stamp sets Shine From Within and Color Me Happy, as well as the Hello Confetti Cuts.

My first card features a sentiment from Shine From Within heat-embossed over stamped brush strokes from Color Me Happy.

ShinefromWithinColorMeHappy

For my second card, I’m showcasing the new Hello Confetti Cuts die cut paired with the Geometric Background Confetti Cuts.

GeometricPanelHello

I cut the Geometric Background Confetti Cuts from white, turquoise, green, orange and red cardstock, piecing the colored pieces into the white frame. I cut the hello sentiment twice, placing it over a die cut vellum circle.

Countdown to Confetti Day One

It’s Countdown to Confetti time at Reverse Confetti! There are FIVE stamp sets, EIGHT Confetti Cuts and “Piña Colada” Quick Card Panels in the April “Special Release”!! Today, Reverse Confetti introduces two awesome stamp sets – Leaping Lions and Pineapples Aplenty – both with coordinating Confetti Cuts!

My first project features the stamp set Leaping Lions along with its coordinating Confetti Cuts set, as well as one of the Piña Colada Quick Card Panels and the Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts die.

LeapingLions

I stamped and clear-embossed the lion and his pedestal on watercolor paper and then colored both with watercolor pencils. I stamped the sentiment directly on the Quick Card Panel. The Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts was cut in both orange and white cardstock and then glued together.

For my next project, I used the one of the die cuts from the Layered Banners Confetti Cuts set to create a birthday decoration.

LayeredBanners

I added gold foil chipboard letters to banners cut from cardstock with the largest die in the set. I strung the banners with cord on two cardboard sticks (the type used to make cake pops). It’s an easy way to create custom birthday decorations!
