Taylored Expressions – Home Sweet Haunted House

Hello! Today, I am sharing a table-top Halloween decor project created with a combination of Taylored Expressions dies.

Taylored Expressions - Home Sweet Haunted House

I combined cardstock pieces cut with dies in the Home Sweet Home (house, windows, roof, chimney), Sack It – Haunted House (shutters, door, ghost, and gable trim), and Home Sweet Home Accessories (curtains) sets to create the house. I covered the window above the door with an assembled Little Bits – Ornate Frame. I used the Spooky Fence Border die to cut the fence.

Make It Personal – Holiday Table Settings + Home Decor

Hello! It’s Day Three of the Taylored Expressions November Sneak Peeks. With the holidays just around the corner, this month’s release features products designed for creating handmade home decor! The November products will be released tomorrow – Thursday, November 3 @ 7 AM PST!

Today, I’m sharing several personalized items for the home featuring the Initially dies. First up, personalized napkin rings for the holidays. I created Thanksgiving and Christmas napkin rings with our family’s initials and the Napkin Ring die set.

For my Thanksgiving table setting, I combined papers from the Playful Patterns – Harvest collection with a woodgrain paper (Woodgrain Textured Cardstock Pack) and initials cut from matching cardstock.

Different holiday? No problem! For my Christmas table setting, I used papers from the Playful Patterns – Holiday collection with a white woodgrain (Woodgrain Textured Cardstock Pack) for the initials.

I also used the Initially dies to create a holiday home decor piece. The Initially die sets include large uppercase, small lowercase, and small uppercase letters. I used the large uppercase for this project.

I cut the letters four times each and adhered them for extra depth. The letters are adhered to a piece of 12″ x 12″ scrapbook paper in a shadow box frame. Super easy!

Reverse Confetti Happy Fall-idays: Thanksgiving

Welcome to the second day of the Reverse Confetti Happy Fall-idays – an event to provide ideas and inspiration for the holidays! Today we’re featuring Thanksgiving projects! There’s a list of everyone sharing ideas today at the end of the post. I created a table setting idea featuring the Pumpkin Patch stamp set.

I stamped the pumpkins, stems, vines and leaves from the Pumpkin Patch stamp set and cut the pieces with their corresponding Confetti Cuts dies.

I embellished the pumpkins with greenery from the Leafy Confetti Cuts set and adhered them to a circle base which I dry-embossed with the Woodgrain Confetti Cuts before cutting with a circle from the Circles ‘n Scallops Confetti Cuts. I added the circle to a scallop, also cut with the Circles ‘n Scallops Confetti Cuts, to create a tag, which I tied onto the napkins with twine.

Neat & Tangled Stamps – Halloween Photo Tray

I’m over at Neat & Tangled today with a Halloween Photo Tray project.  I wanted a way to attractively display our family’s Halloween highlights through the years. I decorated a 7 Gypsies Artist Printers Tray with a combination of photos, journaling, and embellished cards, which I created with stamped pieces from the adorable Neat & Tangled Halloween Scene set. Head over for details and a little bit about my approach when working on projects of this type.
