Reverse Confetti Back-to-School Card

Today, I’m sharing a card with a back-to-school theme showcasing Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts.

TakeNote

I used the Woodgrain Confetti Cuts to create a clipboard base to which I added a hinge cut with a die in the Posted Note Confetti Cuts set. The apple was cut with dies in the Class Act Confetti Cuts set, as was the notebook paper (which was stamped with the Class Act set). The “take note” stamp is in the Posted Note Sentiments set. I just love the bold font that looks as if it’s written with a Sharpie.

I’m joining the Simon Says Back To School Challenge.

Freshly Made Sketches #200

Today, I’m playing along with Freshly Made Sketches #200 with Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts. Reverse Confetti is one of the sponsors for Freshly Made Sketches 200th sketch!

Here’s my take on the sketch:FMS200Card

I paired die cuts from Weather It Together for the top rectangle with a heat-embossed sentiment from God is Good for the lower rectangle.

Reverse Confetti Summer Sale Thanks

Welcome! Today is the first day of the Reverse Confetti Summer Sale! I’m sharing a card featuring the lion images from the Leaping Lions set.

Aug13

I stamped the lions on a white cardstock base with black dye ink to which I added hearts cut with the Shakers ‘n Frames set. The sentiment combines a die cut from Fancy Words (cut twice for extra depth) and a heat-embossed sentiment from Fancy Word Coordinates. I cut the banner with one of the dies in the Layered Banner Duo set.

Be sure to check out projects from the other designers posting today: Heather, Amy T., and Susan.

Reverse Confetti August SFYTT + Giveaway

Have you seen this month’s Sketch for You to Try at Reverse Confetti?

SFYTT Aug 2015

Here’s my take on the sketch, featuring the Later Alligator stamp set with corresponding Confetti Cuts:

AugustSFYTT

I heat-embossed the alligators onto patterned paper and cut them with their corresponding dies. I added googly eyes to the “wild” gator and paper pieced his belly. The sentiment was heat-embossed and cut with one of the Layered Banner Duo dies. The yellow-orange background panel was cut with a die in the Documented set, to which I added waves from Doin’ the Wave and stars from Shakers ‘n Frames.

Did someone say “giveaway”? I’m giving away one Later Alligator stamp set – just comment on this post by Friday, August 14, 3pm EDT.
