Reverse Confetti December SFYTT

Have you seen this month’s Sketch for You to Try at Reverse Confetti?

I created a holiday card using the sketch as my starting point.

I cut one of the words from the Winter Words Confetti Cuts set out of gold foil paper and attached it to the circle cut from patterned paper. I heat-embossed one of the sentiments from the Winter Words Coordinates set onto the red rectangle. I embellished the card with leaves and berries cut with the Holly Confetti Cuts set.

I created a CAS holiday card in non-traditional colors using the sketch as my starting point.

Jean Manis Reverse Confetti November 2015 SFYTT

For the background, I cut garlands from brushed silver cardstock with the Circle Garland Confetti Cuts set and adhered them to a white cardstock base. I embellished the circles with a snowflake cut with the Let It Snow Confetti Cuts set and with a tree and branches from Branch Out. I heat-embossed a sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments on a teal blue cardstock strip. I attached the circles to the card base with dimensional adhesive.

I created a Halloween card using the sketch as my starting point.

I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment on orange cardstock and cut it with one of the dies in the Layered Banner Duo Confetti Cuts set. I stamped and heat-embossed the ghost from Spooky Cuties three times and fussy cut them. I cut a circle in a rectangular panel to frame the ghosts and sentiment.

SFYTT Aug 2015

Here’s my take on the sketch, featuring the Later Alligator stamp set with corresponding Confetti Cuts:

AugustSFYTT

I heat-embossed the alligators onto patterned paper and cut them with their corresponding dies. I added googly eyes to the “wild” gator and paper pieced his belly. The sentiment was heat-embossed and cut with one of the Layered Banner Duo dies. The yellow-orange background panel was cut with a die in the Documented set, to which I added waves from Doin’ the Wave and stars from Shakers ‘n Frames.

Did someone say “giveaway”? I’m giving away one Later Alligator stamp set – just comment on this post by Friday, August 14, 3pm EDT.
