Spellbinders Spooky Greetings

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS Halloween card showcasing the Spellbinders Spooky Greetings Glimmer Hot Foil set.

Spellbinders Spooky Greetings

  • I glimmer foiled the set’s sentiments on to colored cardstock and trimmed the foiled cardstock into 1/2″ strips.
  • I adhered the strips to a dry-embossed background, staggering the sentiments.
  • I added the bats, cut from glitter cardstock, with dimensional adhesive.

Elizabeth Craft Designs – Halloween Cat

Hello! Today I have a Halloween card on which I combined several Elizabeth Craft Designs die sets (listed in the Supply List).

  • I cut the various pieces using the Pumpkin, Cat, and Halloween Accessories sets, from Bristol board to which I had applied Distress inks.
  • I applied more ink as necessary.
  • I added the assembled pieces to a card panel on which I had stamped the Reverse Confetti sentiment.

He’s (she?) is definitely too cute to spook! What I particularly like about this card: the colors and the ease with which I could combine the different die sets.

Spellbinders Card Kit – Christmas Wishes

Hello! Today I am sharing five cards created with the Christmas Wishes Cardmaking Kit from Spellbinders. The Christmas Wishes Cardmaking Kit, a holiday-themed cardmaking kit which was released in November 2019, contains ten cards and envelopes, nine pieces of cardstock, eight dies, a patterned paper pad, a stamp set, die-cut shapes, adhesive gemstones, chipboard elements, and adhesive. The kit is overflowing with product!

My second card incorporates ornaments cut with dies in the kit from metallic gold cardstock which is also included. A chipboard element was used for the sentiment.

I used the kit’s poinsettia die on my third card with a heat-embossed sentiment from the included stamp set. Adhesive gemstones were added as embellishment.

On the first card, I used the Small Die of the Month set to create a rectangular frame of ivory cardstock.

  • I applied VersaMark ink to parts of inside of the corner pieces and both of the joiner pieces and heat-embossed them with gold powder.
  • I added the assembled frame to a base, on which I arranged 1/2″ strips of colored cardstock. On the center strip, I glimmer foiled a sentiment from the More Sentiments set in Matte Gold.

I also created a card using only the corner die to create a square frame. I glimmer foiled a sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments II set in Matte Gold.
