CAS 2 Day Five Card

Today’s Online Card Classes Clean & Simple Card Making 2 course lesson showed how to use the Hero Arts Tall Flowers stamp several different ways.  I don’t own that stamp (yet!) so had to improvise with the Blooming Meadow stamp. I followed the approach shown by the very talented Donna Mikasa.

Day Five

After heat embossing the flowers, I used Wild Honey and Crushed Olive distress inks for the background. There are a few water splatters on the distress ink background (that’s intentional!). Donna included some small punched butterflies on her card. I don’t own the punch she used, and the butterfly punch I own is too large for the card, so I just left those off!

  1. SMITTEN!…LOVE the tiny ink spot BG with your version of TALL FLOWERS:)
    The sentiment works great too!

  2. Such a pretty card! I love the colors you chose for the background…the flowers really stand out beautifully, and the tiny ink spots stamp is perfect!

  3. Hi Jean! So happy that I inspired you to create such a gorgeous Polaroid and card!
Your inking is perfectly done and it looks great even without the butterflies!
