I’m sharing a CASE of Debby Hughes’ lovely card from today’s Online Card Classes Stretch Your Stamps 2 lesson. Debby used the smallest diamond in the Avery Elle set and “kissed” it to the Hero Arts woodgrain stamp.
The tricky part was finding inks that I owned that would give Debby’s card justice. I don’t own the inks that she used; her blues were more pool/teal than mine. She is also the queen of adding just the right embellishments to her cards. I hesitated adding any at all! I settled on three, whereas Debby had stars, a clear round dot and colored enamel dots. I need to “beef up” my dot stash!
Supplies: Avery Elle Rounded Diamonds, Hero Arts Woodgrain, WPlus9 Hand Lettered Hello

Great job on casing Debby’s card. Love the shades of blue. Happy to see you join in.

Oh, I LOVE woodgrain and I finally got this hello stamp set a few weeks ago! yay! Made me laugh at the beefing up your dot stash! The receiver will love it too!
This is just lovely. I love the use of the soft blues.
Wonderful reproduction!
So glad to see you posting Jean. Missed looking at your always gorgeous cards. Don’t own this stamp set so I’ll be substituting for another graphic stamp. I am just catching up as well and hope I finish in time with my homework. LOL!
