Today, I’m sharing a Valentine’s Day card created with Penny Black stamps and dies. Valentine’s Day seems to have arrived quickly this year!
I applied a combination of pink Distress Inks to the 40-389 Bramble stamp, stamping in both the lower-right and upper-left corners of the card base. I die-cut the 51-182 Fancy Heart from white cardstock and adhered it over a piece of vellum cut in the heart shape, to soften the stamped portion underneath it. To finish, I heat-embossed a sentiment from the 30-229 Special Wishes stamp set and added hearts cut with the 51-100 Tree of Love die.
This is so pretty!! I always look at beautiful cards like this, see the stamps and say-why don’t things like this come into my mind when I see just the stamps? They don’t, though. The pink is so pretty and I adore the die cut with the vellum in the middle.
That heart is amazing, and your colorful corners really bring it out.
This is a stunning card Jean. I love the fancy heart, and the pink on the corners.
