Hello! Today, I’m sharing a quilt-inspired friendship card created with Taylored Expressions supplies. I don’t quilt, but I do own fabric and quilt pattern books (maybe one day!). I also have quilts created by my grandmothers and an aunt which I use on a daily basis.
I used the Quilted Cutting Plate to create the background. I cut from Sugar Cube cardstock first and then laid in the pieces cut from the patterned paper and the solid colors. The pieces were taped into the frame from the back. I added a sentiment from the A Thousand Stitches set and embellishments created with Little Bits – Needle & Thread and Little Bits – Buttons.
Supplies:
Just love the stitched circle with sewing embellies added to the quilt, Jean! That cutting plate is one of my faves and I just love the patterns you combined on it!!
Super cute, Jean! Great with the patterned paper and would make a super cute baby card too (or maybe my mind is just on baby lately!). 🙂
That’s one of the best quilty sentiments I have seen. Fabulous card.
This is so pretty!!! I LOVE that lovely quilt and the bright colors that you used. Great design!!
