Hello! Today, I’m sharing a bold CAS card created with Penny Black stamps and dies.
I cut the 51-235 Swirled Squares from black cardstock and adhered them to Stampin’ Up cardstock squares. To simplify alignment, I taped the squares together on the back. (I first considered adding white space between them, but that design didn’t leave enough margin on the sides and would have been more difficult to keep straight!) I added the assembled square to a card base stamped with one of the sentiments in the 30-418 Stitched Flowers set (a favorite as I’ve used it several times of late). To finish, I added butterflies cut with a die in the 51-132 Flights of Fancy (attached with foam adhesive).
Just love the lacy look of those squares, Jean! So pretty with the color duo you chose behind them!!
Love those fancy squares! The colorful background pieces really look good with them. Great job!
This is so bold and beautiful! Love the butterflies- such a great touch. Always a treat to see you creating gorgeous cards with Penny Black. HUGS!
