Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS card created for the CAS(E) this Sketch #276 Challenge.
I love stars (and have since I was a child) and set out to make a CAS and bright card, using two of my favorite techniques — die-cutting and heat-embossing.
- I cut the stars from Gina K cardstock with the MFT Stacking Stars Die-namics die set (now retired).
- I heat-embossed the Seeing Stars sentiment on black cardstock and cut it with one of the Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banners.
- I dry-embossed the card base with the Stampin’ Up Simple Stripes embossing folder.
- I arranged the stars on the card base and picked them up with Press’n Seal. I added adhesive to the backs of the stars and attached them to the card base. The sentiment strip was added with foam adhesive.
Jean, fabulous and colorful take on the sketch!
