Hello! Today, I am sharing a garden-themed card created with Penny Black products. I’ve combined die-cut elements from the Penny Black “A Garden” set with a sentiment from “Special Sentiments.”
-
- I colored white cardstock with Distress Oxide inks and cut out the individual pieces.
- I assembled the pieces with glue.
- I stamped the sentiment on the card base and added Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to the center of the panel.
- I adhered the shelves and the items on the shelves to the card.
With different colors, different arrangements, and a different sentiment (or even the same one), you could create a completely different card. I went bold with my colors, as teal and red are two of my favorite colors to use on cards.
Supplies:
Oh Jean, what a wonderfully colorful shelf garden. It looks fantastic.
Absolutely love it! I adore the “thanks a bunch” sentiment and that version is the best I have seen. It seems when I do red and teal, it never looks that good!
Your card is sensational! Love those bold colors! You’re correct…very versatile stamp set that needs to find its way to my craft room! It’ll be fun to play with this one!
Oh my, total cuteness, Jean! Just love the bitty pots on the shelves!!
I am so taken with this card, Jean! It’s gorgeous, bright, and happy! I’m enjoying your recent Penny Black creations so much. HUGS!
