Hello! Eek – it’s almost September and that means Halloween cards! I’m a big fan of Halloween. I loved trick-or-treating as a child, and I loved Halloween when my sons were young. I’m playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week.
I die-cut the hat and cauldron with the SugarPea Designs Hocus Pocus set. This set isn’t new, but it is new to me. I added bats, cut with dies in the Spellbinders Haunted Manor set. I used three pieces of patterned paper (I broke down and bought a pad!) from the DCVW Happy Halloween stack. The purple cardstock is SU Gorgeous Grape and the screaming green is SU Lemon-Lime Twist (now retired). The sentiment is from the SU Ghoulish Greetings (now retired). I use this set at least once every Halloween!
What a fun card! Just love your Halloween card! Those die cuts are just fabulous! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches to celebrate our 400th sketch!
What a fun mix of papers & die cuts, Jean! Thanks for helping us celebrate 400 at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
Love the eye ball paper on the top and bottom. Very cute paper! Yes, I remember all the candy on Halloween and the fun costumes!
Festive take on the sketch.
