Hello! Today I am sharing a card I crafted using Penny Black die sets, which was inspired by a hooked wool pillow I saw in the window of a local store (image courtesy of Mud Pie).
- I began by die-cutting and assembling the #51-571 Vintage Truck. I backed the window with a lighter blue cardstock.
- I cut the tulips with the #51-043 Dainty die from green and two shades of pink. I trimmed the tulip blooms and attached them to the stems.
- I die-cut the sentiment with the #51-040 Hello Frame set.

How cute is that card, and go you for finding your inspiration on that darling pillow.
After seeing the needlepoint pillow…..then the card…with the exaggerated tulips…I decided I love the humor of this card! Tulips are such a beautiful flower, tall stems and magnificent colors…pure and simple! And the squirrels love the bulbs!
Thank you for the day brightner! O happy Day!
The pillow is great! You nailed it with that fun card. Inspiration can be anywhere.
Adorable tulip truck, Jean! How fun to be able to recreate that pillow!!
