Today’s Clean & Simple Cardmaking 3 from Online Card Classes lesson included the inlaid die cut technique, as shown by Debby Hughes. I CASEd Debby’s card using the same and similar supplies.
Honestly, the most difficult part of this card was making those paint splatters. I’m not a big mister/sprayer, and I took baby steps when adding those. Debby seems to really have a knack for adding random spots and splatters to her projects. I will practice. And as I’ve said before, the things you learn in these courses is invaluable. Time and again, I try things I’d never try when following the class examples.
Hope you’re having a fabulous start to your week!
Love it – I think you did a great job with the spatters! I am also hesitant to try this technique – i always think mine end up messy looking instead of artistic. You have inspired me to try.
This looks great, including your paint splatters!! Great job with the technique!
Great job with the entire card! I’m amazed how much we learn in these classes!
This is PERFECT!!♥♥

Very nice! It’s as beautiful are the one in the class.
HA – Jean, we had the same thoughts today!! Casing Debby’s card and how difficult the splatter was! I like your card a lot – the polka dots are fun on the patterned paper. Will we do the same card again??
You nailed it! I think you did great with your splatters.
it’s back to class for you! So fun to see what you’re up to! Love it, splatters and all!
