Reverse Confetti Peacock Pretties

Today, I’m sharing a CAS card created with Reverse Confetti’s Peacock Pretties (one of the first Reverse Confetti sets!) and the recently released Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts.

Canvas

I stamped images from Peacock Pretties on colored cardstock with matching inks, to create tone-on-tone patterned papers. I used two of the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts dies to cut the banners from the cardstock. For the banner on the far left, I cut the paper on the backside so that the banner would point the other direction. The 4″ square white cardstock panel was stamped with the sentiment in Peacock Pretties. After adhering the banners, I attached the panel to a 4 1/4″ black cardstock base.

AEI♥U Challenge #25 – Rainbow

It’s time for another AEI♥U Challenge! The theme this month is Rainbow.

Here’s my take on the AEI♥U Challenge Rainbow Challenge:

AEJune2015JM

I stamped the lanterns and sentiment with stamps in the Bunting set and cut the lanterns out with their coordinating Elle-ments dies. The strings and ribbons were also die cut with the Bunting Elle-ments set. For a little more color, I added stars cut with dies from the Finished Frames Elle-ments set.

There’s no limit to how you can interpret rainbow for this challenge!

Check out the inspiration from the rest of the Design Team over on the AEI♥U Challenge Blog!  You’ll also find the InLinkz tool to link up YOUR take on the challenge – we’d love to see your beautiful work in our gallery! There are two $25 Avery Elle Gift Certificates up for grabs for the two best entries!  You have until 12:01 AM on June  26, 2015 to link up your take on the challenge!

Supplies:

ColourQ #292

I created a CAS Thank You card created with die cuts for the ColourQ #292 Challenge.

CQC292

I cut the letters with the Lawn Cuts alphabet dies and placed them onto the colored squares, cut with one of the smaller square dies in a Spellbinders Nestabilities set. I cut the letters from all four of the colors and played around with combinations of letters and squares until choosing this one. The stitched rectangle was cut with a Lil’ Inker die.

Supplies:

CAS(E) this Sketch #125

I’m playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch #125 using Reverse Confetti stamps and dies.

Here’s my take on the sketch:

CASESketch125

The sketch was perfect for pairing the “Thanks” from the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts with one of the sentiments in the Fancy Word Coordinates stamp set. I used the Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts die to create the chevron elements. The sun was cut with a die in the Sun ‘n Clouds Confetti Cuts set.

Penny Black Butterfly Garden

Today I’m sharing a spring-themed card combining Penny Black die cuts and stamped images.

ButterflyGarden

I cut the butterflies with one of the dies from the #51-132 Flights of Fancy set and colored them with Copic markers. I inked the #40-282 Twirls stamp with Memento markers and stamped onto white cardstock. The sentiment from the #30-283 Snippets set was heat embossed. I dry embossed the background to add texture.
