ColourQ Challenge #295

I’m playing along with ColourQ Challenge #295 with a CAS card created with Reverse Confetti Confetti Cuts.

June2015ColourQ

With the Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts, I cut two narrow chevrons from navy cardstock and two wider chevrons in the soft pink. I cut the sentiment out of a gold foil paper with the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts set. The pink and navy combination feel preppy to me, and I created the card with a preppy theme in mind.

June Reverse Confetti SFYTT

Have you seen this month’s Sketch for You to Try at Reverse Confetti?

June15

Here’s my take on the sketch featuring a pineapple image from the Pineapples Aplenty set:

June2015SFYTT

I stamped the pineapple and its leaves with Pineapples Aplenty and cut them with their corresponding Confetti Cuts. I used the Scalloped Circle and a circle die from Circles ‘n Scallops to create a background for the pineapple. The multi-colored polkadot panel  and the black-and-white strip are both from the Pina Colada Quick Card Panels set. I stamped a sentiment with images from Sweet Thing and cut it out with a Layered Banner Duo die.

I hope you’ll play along! Head on over to link up your card on the Reverse Confetti Blog for your chance to win a $20 Reverse Confetti gift certificate and the title of ‘Fetti Fave!

Reverse Confetti June Creative Blog Hop

Welcome! This month’s creative hop started on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Lisa’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you!

I’m sharing a gift/treat packaging idea for Father’s Day created with Reverse Confetti stamps and dies.

The packaging base was created with Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts to which I added clouds (Sun ‘n Clouds Confetti Cuts) and the airplane and propeller from Here We Go Confetti Cuts.

June8Masculine2

I added a tag die cut with the Folded Tag Confetti Cuts set. For the tag front, I stamped a sentiment from Fancy Word Coordinates repeatedly (first and second generation). I cut the stamping out at an angle and added the “DAD” stickers.

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate. Comments close Thursday at noon CST; the winner will be announced on Friday. Now it’s time to hop on over to Kathy’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

Reverse Confetti Peacock Pretties

Today, I’m sharing a CAS card created with Reverse Confetti’s Peacock Pretties (one of the first Reverse Confetti sets!) and the recently released Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts.

Canvas

I stamped images from Peacock Pretties on colored cardstock with matching inks, to create tone-on-tone patterned papers. I used two of the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts dies to cut the banners from the cardstock. For the banner on the far left, I cut the paper on the backside so that the banner would point the other direction. The 4″ square white cardstock panel was stamped with the sentiment in Peacock Pretties. After adhering the banners, I attached the panel to a 4 1/4″ black cardstock base.

CAS(E) this Sketch #125

I’m playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch #125 using Reverse Confetti stamps and dies.

Here’s my take on the sketch:

CASESketch125

The sketch was perfect for pairing the “Thanks” from the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts with one of the sentiments in the Fancy Word Coordinates stamp set. I used the Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts die to create the chevron elements. The sun was cut with a die in the Sun ‘n Clouds Confetti Cuts set.
