Avery Elle – Jumping for Joy

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a friendship card created with Avery Elle supplies. I don’t believe that I’ve ever created a frog card before!

Avery Elle Ribbit Ribbit

I stamped the Avery Elle Ribbit Ribbit images on Arches Watercolor Paper with VersaFine Ink and colored with ZIG Brush Markers. I also used a Zig marker to add color to the background using the smooshing method. I cut the images with their corresponding dies and added to the background with foam adhesive, after stamping the sentiment on the watercolor background.

Penny Black Simplicity – Filled with Love

Hello! Today I’m sharing a CAS Valentine created with Penny Black supplies. This cat image makes me smile!

PB Simplicity Valentine

I stamped the cat image, from the 30-271 Share A Hug stamp set, on watercolor paper and colored it with a variety of mediums, including watercolors and watercolor pencils. I also painted a strip of watercolor paper with paint, and once dry, I die-cut the strip with one of the dies in the 51-284 Filled With Love set. I added the sentiment to the image with foam adhesive.

Taylored Expressions – Love Bug

Hello! I’m sharing a CAS Valentine’s Day card featuring Taylored Expressions products.

TE Love Bug

I paired the On the Road – Beetle (in red of course!) with a background created with the Cloud Nine Background. The sentiment is from the Go Beep set. While this card doesn’t scream masculine, it certainly could be sent to a guy.

XOXO – Penny Black Simplicity

Hello! I’m sharing a CAS winter-themed, Valentine’s Day card created with Penny Black dies.

Penny Black Simplicity Valentine's Day MugsI used the 51-281 What’s in Your Cup? die set to cut the mugs, tea bag, steam and foam, and colored the pieces with Distress Inks. I added a sentiment cut with 51-284 Filled With Love. I cut the sentiment twice for extra depth. The mugs were added to the background with foam adhesive.

Avery Elle – Oh Happy Day!

Hello! I’m sharing a spring-themed card created with Avery Elle stamps and dies. It’s been cold and wintry here in the Pacific Northwest, so a little spring color appealed to me!

Avery Elle Happy Day

I stamped the various critters from Woodland Wonders and colored them with Copic markers. I used components from the Tree die set to create the tree, which I dry-embossed with a Stampin’ Up embossing folder. I curved the sentiment to fit one of the banner dies in the Pierced Banner Layers set. When I was finished assembling the scene, I felt there was too much blank sky, so I tucked in clouds cut with the Lawn Fawn Simple Puffy Cloud Frames set.
