There were lots of wonderful techniques shown in today’s Online Card Classes Summer Card Camp 2. I chose to CASE Donna Mikasa’s card showing the technique of clear embossing on colored cardstock.
It took me a few tries to find the right combination of cardstocks to match this week’s colors, as well as to work with this technique. I tried a lighter blue and the result was an almost invisible flower! I also arrived at this sentiment after trying something that had a lighter-weight font. The lighter-weight font was lost with the weight of the flowers and leaves.
Supplies: Avery Elle Petals & Stems stamp set & matching die set; Penny Black Moment of Joy; Hero Arts Cup O’ Joe midtone shadow ink; Versamark; Ranger clear embossing powder; Stampin’ Up & Avery Elle cardstock

What a stunning effect!! LOVE the colors you used on this!!
Really lovely! It’s funny how embossing ink will look so amazing on some papers and hardly show on others! Good to know how you worked through the challenges of getting it right! The result shows your efforts beautifully!
I love the blue flowers. One of my favorites!
