Today, I’m sharing a Poppystamps project. We’ve had a spectacular summer in the Pacific Northwest, but all good things do come to an end, and rainy days are just around the corner. For this card, I wanted to create a warm, inviting interior that said, “Even if it’s raining, it’s still cheery inside my home.”
I know that an open umbrella is considered “bad luck” by some. I just couldn’t resist adding a bright pop of color to the scene.
The chair was stamped on patterned paper and die cut with its matching die. I paper pieced the pillow.
So fab Jean and so perfectly NW! Looking forward to the 7th! 🙂
This is so creative, Jean! I love all the fun colors and patterns, and the raindrops outside the window is such a clever idea!
Oh My Gosh. This is adorable. I love the plaid chair with the black kitty. So cute.
I LOVE this! the rain in the window… awesome… the umbrella… perfect scene creating! I want to make this! thanks Jean!
