I’m playing along with the Curtain Call Candy Cane Challenge.
With the Christmas holiday just around the corner, I’m finding myself creating quick cards using my on-hand supplies.
I die cut white cardstock with the Lifestyle Crafts Antlers die allowing room below for a heat embossed Stampin’ Up sentiment. After adding the sentiment, I adhered the panel, cut with a rectangle die, over Candy Cane striped patterned paper. I then added the panel to a red cardstock base.
I also put together another quick card using a positive Antlers die cut. I cut some patterned paper for the background and added a square frame, cut with the largest die in the MFT Die-namics Square Frames set.
Off to do some last minute holiday shopping!
These are great! I love the striped paper in the negative cut!
Oh wow–that first one is so unexpected–love it! 2 great cards, Jean!
Aren’t you clever … I am lovin’ that candy cane reindeer
Love your cards and I especially love the stripes! I’m finally done with my Christmas To Do list. So glad to be out of traffic!
Love them both, you have such a keen eye for design!
Wonderful cards Jean. Love the deer head. The striped paper behind the die-cut image is perfect! Thank you for playing along with us at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.
