I’m playing along with the latest CAS(E) this Sketch #136 challenge. I couldn’t resist practicing my Distress Ink backgrounds to create a CAS fall-themed card. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we’re definitely seeing signs of fall!
Distress Ink background (top to bottom): Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon; Spellbinders bird die; Stampin’ Up sentiment
I’m going to start keeping a notebook with Distress Ink background combinations. I never seem to know what combinations to use. I’ve got a remnant piece from this card that I’ve labeled with the colors.
This is beautiful and your ink blending is perfect.
This is awesome!!! LOVE those colors. Your sponging is tremendous–so smooth and well blended. The birds in black are perfect for this.
Fabulous take on the sketch!
This is so gorgeous, Jean! I love it! Fabulous take on the sketch!
The day when I am able to blend a BG like this… I am going to throw a huge party!
This looks amazing Jean! Brilliant piece of work!
Love it when you join CTS!
