Welcome to Day 1 of the Taylored Expressions March Sneak Peeks – I’m sharing two wedding-themed projects! The March products will be released Thursday, March 3 @ 7 AM PST!
My first project features Mr. & Mrs. Grumplings – the happiest bride and groom ever (kidding!).
I stamped and Copic-colored the bride and groom. After cutting them with their corresponding dies, I added the pair to a panel of white Woodgrain Textured cardstock. I heat-embossed the sentiment and cut it with one of the Stitched Banner Stacklets dies (I cut twice to make a rectangle, rather than a banner). I added the Mr. & Mrs. – Congrats Banners (cut from white shimmer cardstock in the Premium Cardstock – Metallic Neutrals pack). The woodgrain card panel was adhered to a panel which had been dry-embossed with the Houndstooth embossing folder.
Supplies for Mr. & Mrs. Grumplings (items in Bold will be released March 3):
Mr. Grumpling has to have a ring for Mrs. Grumpling, right? My next card features the Little Bits – Wedding Ring die.
I cut the ring from gold cardstock (included in the Premium Cardstock – Metallic Neutrals pack) and the stone from white shimmer cardstock, (also included in the pack). I heat-embossed a sentiment from Happily Ever After on the card base and placed the rings around the sentiment.

I’ll be back tomorrow with some more sneaks of this release.
Jean, your cards are great. I am loving the Grumblings set! LOL
Those grumplings are too cute and funny. Fabulous cards as usual.
Am I the only one who thinks this stamp set (and message) is in terrible taste? Sorry you had to create something using it. Your cards are so inspirational and positive.
Hi Julie, thank you for commenting that you see my cards as positive! I see the Grumplings as tongue-in-cheek, but that being said, that humor may not appeal to everyone.
