Lawn Fawn | Pumpkin House Hello

Hello! Fall is definitely in the air here in the Pacific Northwest. Right now, I am enthusiastic about the seasonal change. (This will change by the end of October!) Today, I am sharing a fall-themed card created with a combination of Lawn Fawn supplies.

Lawn Fawn | Pumpkin House Hello

  • I used the largest Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die to cut a rectangle from Mermaid cardstock. For the grass, I cut a 2-inch tall Noble Fir cardstock strip with the same die. I glued the pieces together to create the background and added the panel to an A2-size card base.
  • I cut the Pumpkin House from a variety of cardstock colors and assembled it. With a die in the Build-A-House Spring Add-On, I cut the fence from Light Brown Woodgrain cardstock. I added the fence and house to the background.
  • I stamped and Copic-colored the Forest Feast food and critters-Squirrel (E31 and E34), Hedgehog (E50, E53, E23, E25), Raccoon (W0, W2, W4, W6)-and cut them with their coordinating dies.
  • I stamped the Hello Baby sentiment on to white cardstock and cut it with the medium cloud in the Spring Showers die set. I cut the smallest cloud with the same set.
  • I added the critters, sentiment cloud, and extra cloud to the scene.

  • I stamped the pattern image in the Happy Birthday #1 stamp set on to colored paper with coordinating inks for a tone-on-tone look.
  • I die-cut the stamped paper with the Balloons Die. I die-cut the strings from white cardstock and assembled the balloons.
  • I stamped the sentiment in the Birthday Vase set in VersaFine ink on a mini-slimline sized light-blue cardstock panel.

Rubbernecker Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

  • I created a mini-slimline frame by cutting patterned paper using the two largest dies in the Mini Slimline Nested with Stich set.
  • I attached the sentiment panel to a card base and adhered the frame.
  • After assembly everything, I embellished the card with circles cut from glitter cardstock using dies in the Lifeguard Tower and Fishing Boat die sets.

Penny Black – Smell the Sea

Hello! I cannot believe that this is the last full week of August! The summer has flown by. Today I am sharing an “end of summer card” showcasing the Penny Black 30-844 At Ease stamp set, from their “Dream & Discover” collection.

Penny Black "At Ease"

  • With the 30-844 At Ease set, I stamped the beach houses. I then colored the images with Copics and colored pencils and fussy-cut them.
  • Separately I stamped the houses on to cardstock to which I applied Distress Oxide inks for the sky, ocean, and sand. Before applying the ink, I masked the flag and fish kite.
  • Next, I stamped the sentiment and birds with Archival Ink. After removing the masks, I colored the flag and the fish kite. I added the fussy-cut houses to the panel. The card measure 7 inches wide by 5 inches tall.
