Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS holiday card showcasing the Let’s Bake die set from the Spellbinders A Sweet Christmas Collection by Sharyn Sowell. This card would be a great addition to a gift of Christmas cookies or candy (my mother gifted hand-turned fudge packaged in a red round tin). Similarly the die-cuts could be used to created gift tags for Christmas food gifts!
I cut the pieces from a variety of cardstock colors and backed the pieces with openings (the oven mitt, the measuring spoon, and the glass measuring cup) with cardstock in the same color.
I added a heat-embossed sentiment on the kitchen wall background which I created with the Spellbinders Circles and Diamonds embossing folder.
Jean, this is the perfect card to add to a baked holiday gift. The outlines give a nice dimension to the pieces.
Love what you’ve done with these dies! Very sweet, very creative. Like you I’m using them to get a jump on the holidays, and isn’t it fun?
Oh so cute and fun! I have that set on its way to me. Thanks for the great inspiration!
Darling card, Jean! Just love the contrast of the grey counter & the embossed wall. Looks like a fun holiday baking scene!!
