Hello! Today I am sharing a floral hello card featuring Spellbinders die sets with which I have used the inlaid die-cutting technique. It’s one of my favorite techniques.
- I cut white cardstock and cardstock colored with Distress Oxide inks with the Lovely Lilac and Petal’d Poetry die sets designed by Stephanie Low.
- I inlaid the colored die-cut pieces into the white cardstock die-cut “frame.”
- I taped the pieces into the frame from the back and adhered the assembled die-cut on top of the solid die-cut piece.
- I heat-embossed the Altenew Mini Hello sentiment on to Gina K cardstock and added the assembled blooms to the card base. I was going for a tropical feel when choosing the card base color.
