Hello! With fall in the air (although today it’s warm here in the PNW), I am turning to richer colors in my papercrafting projects. Navy and orange is one of my favorite color combinations for fall, and that was my starting point for this card created with Penny Black supplies.
I pulled out a number of different Penny Black die sets that I’ve collected over the years. For example, the fence behind the grass is from a Halloween set.
The Trio of Trees set cuts one-piece trees. I cut the trees from the foliage color and then fussy cut the foliage from the trunks and added the foliage pieces to trees cut in the trunk color.
I’ve listed all of the supplies below, including SU cardstock colors. The one exception is the gold house that I cut from SU More Mustard, which appears to be a retired cardstock color (truth be told this may be the first time I’ve ever used it!).
A very cute card. Love what you did with the trees, they look great. I will remember the blue and orange combination, it really looks good!
Darling scene, Jean – perfect in the fall colors!! It would make a great new home card too!
