Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS Valentine’s Day card created with Penny Black supplies from their latest release – “Love and Happiness.”
- I cut the wagon with the 51-646 Wagon Ride set from white, dark grey, silver foil, and woodgrain cardstock. (I’m already envisioning the wagon carrying greenery for a winter card and pumpkins for a fall one.)
- I assembled the wagon pieces with glue. The silver foil handle/pull was trimmed and glued to the dark grey piece.
- I stamped the 30-792 Love Quotes sentiment in black ink on a white cardstock panel.
- I applied Distress ink to the panel, using a vellum sheet as a mask, for the ground and the sky.
- I cut the hearts with dies in the 51-090 Little Ornaments and the 51-281 What’s in Your Cup? sets.
- I added the hearts to the panel, placing the largest hearts inside the wagon.
- I added the assembly to a patterned paper card base.
Love that wagon. Such a great card that really could be used any day!
