Hello! I am delighted to be participating in a blog hop sharing projects created with the Spellbinders May 2021 Club Subscriptions. You should have reached me from the blog of Dilay Nacar. (The entire list of participants is included at the end of my post.) For the hop, I created a birthday card using this month’s Large Die of the Month kit “Stitched Card Front, Border & Flower” and this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Club “Borders & Sentiments.” I shared other cards created with the kits here and here.
To celebrate this release, Spellbinders is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 3 lucky blog readers – selected from the comments on the Spellbinders blog. Giveaway closes on Sunday, May 23rd, 11:59 pm MST. The winner will be announced in the blog hop post the following Tuesday. The winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes. Please note: store credit (gift certificate) cannot be applied to Club Subscriptions; store credit can be applied to shop past Club products, Club extras, and regular releases.
To create the card, I die-cut the Large Die of the Month border from Snowdrift cardstock six times and stitched the borders with floss in the following colors: pink (DMC 603), red (DMC 349), orange (DMC 741), yellow (DMC 726), blue (DMC 322), and purple (DMC 208).
I heat-embossed the sentiment from the Clear Stamp of the Month Club set. I attached the sentiment to the back of the frame I created from Brushed Silver and Snowdrift cardstock in which I cut openings with the largest die in the Essential Rectangles set and the A2-size die in the Large Die of the Month set. The card is larger than A2-size.
The stitched flowers were adhered to a Waterfall cardstock panel. The frame was added to the front with foam adhesive.
