Hello! Bring a touch of the tropics to your cardmaking with this vibrant design featuring the Spellbinders June 2026 Large Die Kit Club. This may be one of the most elaborate and intricately detailed floral die sets I’ve ever worked with! The tropical blooms take center stage against a dry-embossed background filled with pineapple texture for added dimension and interest.

While I chose a BetterPress sentiment for this card, the kit also includes dies to create an “Aloha” greeting, making it easy to embrace the set’s island-inspired theme. The combination of lush florals, tropical motifs, and rich texture creates a card that feels warm, cheerful, and perfect for a variety of occasions.

Spellbinders | Tropical Fun

Hello! Today’s card brings a burst of tropical fun featuring the May 2026 Large Die Kit Club from Spellbinders. I created a bright, playful scene featuring a cheerful parrot paired with a soda can, a colorful fruit skewer, and a tiny umbrella for that extra island touch. The embossed background helps set the tone with added texture. Finished with a BetterPress sentiment, the card has a lighthearted, vacation-inspired feel.

Spellbinders | Market Shopping

Hello! Today, I am sharing a card created with this month’s Large Die of the Month Kit at Spellbinders. The shopping bag filled with produce, flowers, bread, milk, and cheese has a French market feel that makes it easy to build a scene full of everyday beauty. For this card, I used patterned paper for the bag to add a bit of personality and set it against a dry-embossed background for a soft texture.

- Dry-emboss an A2-size cardstock panel and add it to a card base.
- With dies in the Large Die of the Month Kit, cut the shopping bag pieces from patterned paper. Add the back piece to the card base. I cut the front panel 1/2″ longer than the amount shown. I scored the panel twice and adhered a 1/4″ flap to the back of the card. By doing so, I created a bottom for the bag.
- With dies in the Large Die of the Month Kit, cut the shopping bag contents and assemble as required. Add to the inside of the bag.
- Better Press the sentiment and cut with its coordinating die. Add to the front of the shopping bag.
- Adhere the bag closed with foam square adhesive.

Spellbinders | Floral Sneaker

Hello! For the feminine take with the Large Die offering for March 2026 at Spellbinders, I swapped the grill tools (see my first card HERE) for a bouquet of cheerful flowers while keeping the classic sneaker front and center. This die set has options for both masculine and feminine cards, making it versatile for many occasions.

- Cut Seaside cardstock with the largest Essential Stylish Oval die and add to an A2-size base.
- Cut the sneaker and flowers from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble.
- Add assembled items to the card front.
- Press the Crate offering sentiment, cut with a banner die, and cut apart. Note: I edited the sentiment, which said, “Have a Super Birthday.” Add the sentiment pieces to the card front with foam.

Spellbinders | You’re Pure Classic!

For this playful Father’s Day card, I reached for the Spellbinders March Large Die of the Month Kit and leaned into a theme that feels perfectly “Dad.” What’s great about this die set is that it’s versatile enough to create a feminine card as well!

Classic sneakers take center stage, paired with grill implements, a mustard bottle, and a hot dog for a fun backyard vibe. I set the scene against a BetterPress dot grunge background, which adds texture and energy. The sentiment ties everything together and celebrates that timeless dad style. What is great about the is there’s a way to make a feminine card as well!

- Press the background with blue ink on Malibu cardstock. Trim and add panel to an A-2 size card base. Press the sentiment with the same set and trim.
- Cut the sneakers, grill tools, condiment bottle, and hotdog with dies in the March Large Die of the Month Kit from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble.
- Add the assembled items and sentiment to the prepared card base with glue and foam squares.
