Hello! I am delighted to be taking part in the Spellbinders All Aboard Card Kit Blog Hop. You should have reached me from the blog of Ilina Crouse. (The entire list of participants is included at the end of my post.) I previously shared projects with the kit here, here, and here.
Spellbinders is giving away a $25 gift certificate to 3 lucky blog readers – selected from the comments on the Spellbinders blog. Giveaway closes on Sunday, October 3rd, 11:59 pm MST. The winner will be announced in the blog hop post the following Wednesday. The winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes. Please note: store credit (gift certificate) cannot be applied to Club Subscriptions; store credit can be applied to shop past Club products, Club extras, and regular releases.
For the hop, I created two cards and two tags with the All Aboard Card Kit. I had kept the kit pieces together in the original box, and it was easy to find coordinating die-cut and chipboard elements, solid cardstock, patterned paper, and embellishments. These projects took almost no time to assemble.
I dry-embossed the card bases using the Evergreen folder (dark green) and the Stargazer folder (burgundy).
To help cluster the die-cut pieces, I cut 3-inch circles with the detail and outline dies and backed with gold foil. Both the textured white cardstock and gold foil are included in the kit. I embellished the tree with Gold Mix Gems. To add dimension to the cards, I mixed chipboard elements from the kit with the die-cut pieces.
I die-cut the tags with the Heart to Heart Tag set from patterned paper in the kit, which I backed with white cardstock.
I added one of the tags to a coffee/chocolate-themed gift.
Just as I did on the cards, I mixed die-cut elements with chipboard pieces. I used enamel dots from the kit to embellish the tree.
Thank you for dropping by! I hope I have inspired you. Head next to the blog of Yasmin Diaz. Scroll for full list of participants.

The tags are so cute. Love the stack of books! Using the circle on the cards to arrange the images was brilliant!

Wonderful projects. I really love the amazing ephemera in this kit!
Hi, Jean – Your cards and tags are really lovely. I think this kit makes it possible to make a ton of items w/o even needing to stamp, die cut or stencil… but of course, one can do those things also, if one wishes. Your work is beautiful. TFS –
