Today, I’m sharing another Halloween-themed card on which I used the Halloween Visit stamp from the Penny Black Halloween release.
While I generally would consider coloring an image such as this, I decided to go with a simpler approach. I colored the tag, cut with the large die in the Tagged set, with distress inks and then stamped the image with Archival Black ink. I clear embossed the background after stamping it with the Penny Black Decadence stamp. This background stamp lends a elegant look, and at the same time it’s so versatile! Lots of plans for its use during the upcoming holiday season. The sentiment is from Hoot of a Time.
Amazing card, Jean! I love how your image pops against the background, which is such a great pattern! Wonderful idea to color your tag first…it has a great antique effect, and your orange bow is the perfect touch! You did a really nice job mixing and matching your stamp sets 🙂
By the way: I “Finally” started a blog 🙂 If you would like to stop by, I would love it!
