Spellbinders Stained Glass Bouquet Collection

Hello! I was recently a guest blogger for Spellbinders on their blog sharing three cards created with the Stained Glass Bouquet Collection from Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken. I hope you will head over to see my creations, read about the designs, and leave a comment.

Penny Black Geometric Art

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS, geometric, thank you card created with Penny Black supplies from the newest release – “Delight.”

Penny Black Geometric Art

  • I added alcohol inks to a Yupo panel from which I cut the smallest equilateral triangle in the 51-647 Triangles set. The dies in the set cut a solid triangle and a thin outline triangle at the same time.
  • I heat-embossed a rectangular panel (slightly larger than A2-size) with a sentiment in the 30-813 Ever Thanks set in gold. I glued the triangles to the panel, trimming the overlapping pieces off the sides.
  • From a Brushed Gold cardstock panel, measuring 4 ¾” x 6″, I cut out an A2 rectangle to make a ¼” frame for the card.

Cottage Cutz Nautical Hello

Hello! Today, I am sharing a nautical-themed card showcasing the CottageCutz Lighthouse die. If you have followed this blog for awhile, you may recall that nautical is one of my favorite cardmaking themes.

Cottage Cutz Nautical Hello

  • I die-cut the lighthouse from a variety of cardstock pieces and glued it together.
  • I stamped the Stampin’ Up sentiment on to a triangle cut with the Color Block Slices die set.
  • I added the lighthouse and stamped light ray to a patterned paper background and finished it with a frame cut with the A2 Rectangle Frames set.

Penny Black Hello Spring Wagon

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS, spring-themed “Hello” card created with Penny Black supplies. I previously shared a Valentine’s Day card featuring the 51-646 Wagon Ride set here.

Penny Black Hello Spring Wagon

  • I created a horizon line on a 4 1/4″ square card base.
  • I cut the 51-646 Wagon Ride set from white, dark grey, brush silver, and kraft cardstock and assembled it.
  • I die-cut the flowers with the 51-596 Bird and Branch  and 51-618 Swinging sets from cardstock colored with Distress Inks, which I heat-embossed with clear embossing powder.
  • I cut the sentiment with the 51-638 Thanks & Hello set from yellow cardstock.
  • I adhered the sentiment and flowers to the card base.
