Christmas Mice

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a Christmas card featuring the Elizabeth Craft Designs  Jolly the Mouse die set.

Christmas Mice

I die cut and assembled three mice, decorating them with items from the Props 5 set (Santa hat, candy cane, beard, moustache, glasses). For the pink used on their feet, hands, ears and noses, I colored cardstock with Taylored Expressions Cupcake ink to get just the right shade.

I used the Stitched Hillside Border set to create layers and kept building until all three mice had a place on the card. The card is just a little bit taller than 5 1/2 inches. The patterned paper background is from American Crafts.

I added a long sentiment from the Merry Messages set.

Jingle All the Way – PB Simplicity

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a CAS holiday card created with Penny Black supplies.

PB Simplicity Watercolored Cats

I stamped the pair of cats from 30-317 Deck the Halls with Versafine ink and colored the image with watercolor pencils and Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors.

I cut the 51-084 Jingle… sentiment from watercolor cardstock which I had colored with the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors and adhered to the watercolored panel.

Fresh Snow in the Woods

Hello. Today, I’m sharing a winter scene featuring Memory Box and Poppystamps dies.

Die-Cut Christmas Sleigh

I took some artistic license with the Reindeer Parade die-cut – I’m imagining the reindeer flying off, leaving the sleigh in the woods! The heat-embossed sentiment is from Lawn Fawn Merry Messages – one of my favorite sets of the season.

Let It Snow!

Hello! Today I’m sharing a CAS Christmas card created with Avery Elle supplies.

AE Santa

I used the Falling Snow die to create the background for the Copic-colored Santa (I also used colored pencil on his boots and belt).

TE Christmas Ornaments – One Design, Two Versions

Hello! Today, I’m sharing two Christmas cards, featuring Taylored Expressions stamps and dies, of the same design but with different color schemes.

For my first version, I went for drama!

TE Ornaments

I cut the Ornament Overlays and Ornament Accessories from gold cardstock. I heat-embossed the Ornamental sentiment with gold metallic powder on Oreo cardstock. I die-cut circles that were slightly larger than the overlays from Cherry Pop cardstock. The ornaments were strung with gold metallic thread.

TE Ornaments

I went with a softer color palette for my second version.

TE Ornaments

The ornaments were cut from silver cardstock. The Ornamental sentiment was heat-embossed with silver powder on a Salt Water Taffy background. I used the Ornament Accessories to create the strings and bows.
