I used both the sketch and the inspiration photo to create an Easter card with a combination of die cuts.

I clustered the Little Bits – Chocolate Bunny with eggs cut with a die in the Egg Stacklets set. I dry-embossed the eggs with the Embossing Folder – On the Spot embossing folder. I heat-embossed the sentiment from the Easter Wishes set and cut it with a die in the Stitched Banner Stacklets set. To keep the leaves behind the circle subtle, I cut vellum with the Leafy Branch die.

Welcome to Day 2 of the Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks – I’ve got a St. Paddy’s Day card and Easter treat toppers to share! The March products will be released Thursday, March 3 @ 7 AM PST!

Feeling lucky? My first project features the Lucky Charms Stamp & Die Combo paired with the Let’s Talk Bubble 3, perfectly sized to work with the Let’s Talk Sentiments.

I paper-pieced the Leprechaun and stamped the “good luck” sentiment in the Let’s Talk Bubble 3. I added texture to the hill with the Houndstooth embossing folder.

My second project showcases the Tag Stacklets 3 dies – designed to work with a variety of Taylored Expressions products (sized so that the Roly Poly products can be added to the tag shape, Beauty Lies Within, Away in a Manger, and all of the Treat Topper dies). Since Easter is around the corner I used the Easter Treat Toppers.

Taylored Expressions Share Joy Challenge #23

I’m playing along with Share Joy Challenge #23 at Taylored Expressions.

I used the sketch to create an Easter card:

I interpreted the circle and banner loosely, using two eggs from the Easter Wishes set heat-embossed on watercolor paper for the circle in the sketch. The eggs were watercolored with Distress Inks and cut with the corresponding Egg Stacklets dies. I used just one banner with the heat-embossed sentiment, also in the Easter Wishes set, rather than two banners, as in the sketch. I used the Stitched Scallop Edger die to cut the white scallop tucked under patterned paper from the Build a Scene Paper Pack.

Taylored Expressions February Release Day

Hello! Welcome to the Taylored Expressions February 2016 Release!  I have one more project to show you featuring the Roly Poly – Duck die.

The base of the Roly Poly Duck is a circle cut with a die in the Stitched Circle Stacklets set. Once I pieced the duck together, I added grass, cut with the Fringe Border, to the card base, which I dry-embossed with the Cloudy Days embossing folder. I added a couple of eggs, which I dry-embossed with the On the Spot folder. I heat-embossed the sentiment from the Easter Wishes set and cut it with a die in the Stitched Banner Stacklets set. These colors make me happy!
