Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

The holidays are right around the corner and REVERSE CONFETTI has just released a collection of new products that will help get you in a festive mood and jump start your holiday crafting!  With 4 stamp sets and 7 new Confetti Cuts dies/sets, there’s plenty to choose from.

For my first card, I cut the tree branches (Branch Out Confetti Cuts) and the Mini Circle Garland from foil paper, combining those with traditional red and green, as well as a silver heat-embossed sentiment from the Seasonal Sentiments set. I backed the garland die cut with a solid cardstock panel, cut with the die included in the Class Act Confetti Cuts set.

For my next card, I created a mini forest, again with foil branches from Branch Out and a silver sentiment from the Seasonal Sentiments set. I used the Circle Garland to create a snowy hill top and added snowflakes from the Let It Snow Confetti Cuts set.

For my last card, I created several panels using the Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts from which I cut circles in various diameters to resemble ornaments. The bows were cut from brushed silver cardstock using a die in the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts set. I added snowflakes from the Let It Snow Confetti Cuts set and another sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments. I will be using this sentiment set over and over!

The Cutting Edge Challenge #14

It’s time for another Cutting Edge Challenge! Our inspiration this week is an amazing card created by Design Team member Lisa Addesa.

Here’s my take on her card.

The Cutting Edge Challenge #14

I was inspired by Lisa’s use of color and the repetition of a single shape. I cut a Poppystamps ornament die out of three cardstock colors and adhered the shapes to ones I’d cut from black cardstock for extra depth. The ornament tops and the Simon Says Stamp sentiment were cut from a metallic cardstock.

Countdown to Confetti Day Three

Today’s Countdown to Confetti is for an awesome stamp set called North Pole Wishes with its own companion die cut set! The stamp set includes sentiments perfect for the holiday season!

I stamped one of the set’s sentiments on black cardstock. After heat embossing, I added white pigment ink with my finger for a chalkboard look. The envelope was heat embossed on red cardstock and cut with its coordinating die.

Countdown to Confetti

It’s Countdown to Confetti time – I’m pleased to introduce Quirky Cutie Marley Moose!

I Copic-colored Marley, keeping with a traditional holiday color combination. I scattered some Let It Snow die cuts as well. These are the perfect accent for holiday and winter-themed projects!
