Taylored Expressions - Right as Rain

Taylored Expressions – Christmas Forest + Sale

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS holiday card created with the Taylored Expressions Christmas Tree Stacklets.

Before I share details about the card, Taylored Expressions is having their biggest sale of the year right now! The sale ends at 11:59 pm CST on Sunday, November 26. Shop early for the best selection! 30% off everything (excludes gift cards and class registrations).

Back to the card – I cut Playful Patterns – Holiday paper with the three triangle dies in the Christmas Tree Stacklets set and arranged them so that there would be a variety of colors and patterns.

I staggered the trees, to create different heights, and used the Build a Scene – Rolling Hills to cover the tree bases. I stamped and heat-embossed a Campy Christmas sentiment and added Little Bits – Snowflake Confetti to fill the Salt Water Taffy sky.

TE Merry & Bright Holiday Die-cut Door

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS holiday card created with Tay lored Expressions supplies using a non-traditional color scheme.

I was going to claim this as a “no stamps” card but then remembered I used the Snow Day Background! I started by stamping the background with Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers ink. Next I cut the door from Door to Door 2 from Lollipop cardstock. I backed the window with vellum and then again with Sugar Cube cardstock. The Little Bits – Ice Skates held with the bow in Ornament Accessories is the door decor. I cut snow for the top of the door with the Door to Door Winter Decor set. The sentiment is cut from Silver Foil with the Picture Perfect – Vertical die, trimmed and tucked behind the snow. The base needed some textured, so I dry-embossed Cookie Monster cardstock with the Diagonal Stripe embossing folder. And Santa has been by, so his (or hers?) sack, cut with dies in the By the Fireside – Santa set, are left at the door.

Taylored Expressions November 2017 Release Day

Hello! Welcome to the Taylored Expressions November 2017 Release! All of the products that we have been sharing this week are now available in the TE store!

Before you head off to shop, I have two more CAS cards to show you. My first card showcases the Inside Scallop Circle Stacklets set along with the Double-Ended Flag Stacklets.

I used the Stitched Circle Stacklets with the Inside Scallop Circle Stacklets to create three frames in which I placed the Little Bits – Balloons and Build a Cake die-cuts. The patterned paper is from the Playful Patterns – Bold package. I heat-embossed the Friendly Phrases sentiment and cut it with a die in the Double-Ended Flag Stacklets set.

For my second card, I used the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets with the Inside Scallop Rectangle Stacklets to create two frames in which I placed the Stacked Teacups. The patterned paper that fills the teacups and shown in the yellow and pink-striped backgrounds is from the Playful Patterns – Bold package.

Just as I did in the first card, I heat-embossed the Friendly Phrases sentiment and cut it with a die in the Double-Ended Flag Stacklets set. These sets make quick work of adding a sentiment!

Bah Humbug – Taylored Expressions Calendar Grumplings

Hello! Welcome to Day 3 of the Taylored Expressions November 2017 Release Sneak Peeks. The November products being sneaked will be released tomorrow – Thursday, November 2 @ 7 AM PST! Today, I am sharing a holiday card (perhaps for the grump in your family?!) and three decorated envelopes.

My CAS card features the December Calendar Grumplings and shows a new die from the Inside Scallop Rectangle Stacklets set. These work alone or together with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets to create a frame.

The packages were cut with All Wrapped Up from patterned paper in the Playful Patterns – Bold and Playful Patterns – Savory packages. The background was created with Distress Inks – Tumbled Glass and Hickory Smoke – applied with a Clarity Stencil Brush.

I used Merry Mail 2 to stamp images on coordinating envelopes, which are lined with Playful Patterns – Savory patterned paper, cut with the Scalloped Envelope Liner die. I colored the images stamped in Oreo ink with colored pencils.

Taylored Expressions Big Blooms Card Set

Hello! Happy Halloween! Welcome to Day 2 of the Taylored Expressions November 2017 Release Sneak Peeks. The November products being sneaked will be released Thursday, November 2 @ 7 AM PST! Today, I am sharing a gift set of note cards which showcase the Big Blooms stamps.

The November release introduces two new Big Blooms – Cabbage Rose and Hydrangea. I stamped and heat-embossed the Big Blooms (clockwise from top left – Sunflower, Cabbage Rose, Hydrangea, and Daisy) on watercolor paper and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added heat-embossed sentiments from the Plot Twist stamp set which I cut with the Sentiment Stacker 1 die, another November release introduction.

The set of cards and matching envelopes are ready for gift-giving with the addition of a heat-embossed sentiment from Noteworthy attached with the Noteworthy Belly Band wrapped around a clear card box. I stamped the band with the Happy Flowers Background.

The matching envelopes were created with the Scalloped Envelope Liner die, cut from Playful Patterns – Savory patterned paper.
