Today, I’m sharing a Penny Black Valentine combining an image from the Penny Black jumbo love [30-209] stamp set (an adorable set!) with a from the heart [30-207] set sentiment.
I stamped the elephant on gray cardstock (Penny Black “mix & match” paper) with Versafine ink and heat-embossed it with clear powder, and then fussy-cut it. I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment and die cut it with a circle shape to resemble a ball, as you would find at the circus. I also stamped the elephant on a background (also Penny Black “mix & match” paper) as it’s difficult to fussy-cut the tail. The elephant is adhered with dimensional foam. I finished the card with some die cut hearts.
