Die-cut Easter Chicks

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS spring- or Easter-themed card featuring chicks cut with the Karen Burniston Spring Animals set. I used this set last year on this card and this one.

I die-cut the chicks, egg, and accessories and assembled them. I used a Paper Smooches set (Bees) to cut the small eye.
I added the chicks to a patterned paper background.
I stamped a Lawn Fawn greeting and cut it with a banner die. I only have a few Easter stamps and decided this sentiment worked just fine.
I cut a mat for the patterned paper square and added the assembly to a patterned paper card base. (Both from the Echo Park I Love Spring pad.)

Penny Black – Time to Bloom

Hello! Today I am sharing a spring-themed card suitable for encouragement, congratulations, or friendship featuring Penny Black supplies from their most-recent release – “Secret Garden.”

I stamped and watercolored the cute bear image from 30-687 Plant Sunshine and once dry, I cut the image with its coordinating die set.
I die-cut the 51-623 Pretty Picket fence and the blooms with the 51-596 Bird and Branch set.
I stamped the patterned paper background with a sentiment from the 30-703 Blooming Sentiments set.
I assembled the scene and added the panel to a patterned paper card base.

Hello! Today I am sharing an Easter card created with a Freshly Made Sketches Challenge sketch from last year. I was particularly fond of the sketch. You can see my original card using the sketch here.

I die-cut the Poppystamps bunnies from yellow, pink, and blue cardstock.
I die-cut the now-retired MFT fence from white cardstock. I trimmed the fence to be the width of the three bunnies.
I cut the patterned paper pieces and adhered them to a card base on which I had printed Happy Easter on my computer printer.
I added yellow Taylored Expressions Enamel Dots in the upper-right corner.

Special Celebrations – April 2020 Spellbinders Small Die of the Month

Hello and Happy April! Today I am sharing three cards created with the April Small Die of the Month kit from Spellbinders – “Special Celebrations.” The set includes dies with which you can create unique cards for engagements, weddings, anniversaries, and Christmas, to name a few. The set is designed to work with the Trucking Through the Seasons set; the dies can also be used on their own.

I created three cards – “Just Married,” “Happy Holidays,” anniversary/engagement – using the Special Celebrations set along with Truckin Through the Seasons.

I used silver foil, gold foil, gliiter paper, and brushed gold cardstock, along with colored cardstock to create the trucks, the license plates, and the accessories. I used patterned paper for the card bases.

Alone Together – Penny Black Die-Cut Scene

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS encouragement card with a die-cut scene depicting the current “Alone Together” world that we live in. Whether you are in the city, in the suburbs, on the farm, … we’re in this together!

I die-cut the houses with the #51-459 Neighborhood Border die from navy cardstock and backed the windows with yellow cardstock.
I die-cut the skyline with the #51-017 Downtown die from gray cardstock and backed the windows with yellow cardstock.
I cut the hearts with dies in the #51-090 Little Ornaments and the #51-281 What’s in Your Cup? sets.
I created the sentiment on my computer.
