Penny Black Simplicity – A Day of Loveliness

Today, I’m sharing a CAS friendship card created with Penny Black supplies.

Penny Black Simplicity 40-469 Hydrangea

I stamped the 40-469 Hydrangea image using different colors of Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Shaded Lilac, Salty Ocean; I combined inks on the stamp before stamping) three times, rotating the image each time.

I stamped a sentiment from 30-353 Words of Kindness and added butterflies cut from cardstock, to which I’d applied Distress Inks, with a die in the 51-132 Flights of Fancy set.

I hope you’ll head over to the Penny Black Simplicity blog where I am sharing a different take with the 40-469 Hydrangea stamp.

Did Someone Say Birthday?

Hello! Today I’m sharing a birthday card created with Taylored Expressions supplies showcasing the Paw-some stamp & die combo. There are multiple birthdays on our family’s horizon!

Taylored Expressions Paw-some Birthday

I created the background scene with Build a Scene – Rolling HillsBuild a Scene – Farm Fence and the Build a Doghouse set. I cut the dog house from cardstock dry-embossed with the Lots of Dots embossing folder. I stamped, colored and cut the dog and birdies using the Paw-some stamp & die combo. I stamped one of the set’s sentiments on the card background sky.

It’s a Birthday Party – Lawn Fawn Party Animals

Hello! I’m sharing a birthday card created with Lawn Fawn supplies, namely the Party Animal stamp set (one of my favorites).

I stamped and colored with Copic markers the critters, birds, balloons and cake, then cut the images with their corresponding dies. The scene was created with both the Leafy Tree Backdrop – Landscape and the Stitched Hillside Pop-Up. I used the sentiment from Year One. I’m ready to join their party!

Hoot Hoot Hooray

Hello! Today I’m sharing a CAS birthday card created with Taylored Expressions supplies. I’m always in need of birthday cards, no matter what the season.

The Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp & die combo makes for quick card making!
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers. I used the Clarity Brushes to apply Distress Inks on a watercolor panel, on to which
I stamped the sentiment. I added a frame cut with the Stitched Frame Stacklets 1 set for visual interest. I cut the images with their coordinating frames and added them to the scene with foam adhesive. I attached a piece of Woodgrain Textured cardstock to the card base for the background.
