Taylored Expressions August 2017 Release – Skulls + Ghosts

Hello! Welcome to Day One of the Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peeks. Products will be in the store Thursday, August 3 @ 7 AM PST!

Today is all about Halloween! My first project features the Sugar Skulls stamps and coordinating dies.

Taylored Expressions August 2017 Release

I stamped the images on TE Premium Watercolor Cardstock and colored them with watercolor pencils and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I used the corresponding dies to cut out the images. I used a few of the other stamps in the set to stamp the background. I heat-embossed the sentiment from Simply Said – Halloween and cut it with a die in the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets set.

Now, let’s get to the “treat” in “Trick or Treat”! I crafted a treat box using the Matchbox die set with the Be Somebody Stamp & Die Combo.

I stamped the Be Somebody Stamp & Die Combo ghosts on TE Premium Watercolor Cardstock and colored them with watercolor pencils. Once dry, I cut them with the coordinating dies. I stamped the sentiment from the same set on to the Matchbox base before assembling the box. I added stars cut with the Little Bits – Moon & Stars set to the box front along with the ghost. The coordinating paper is from the Build a Scene Halloween pack.
