Ellen Hutson is having a 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist Challenge and I decided to play along. All of the tags have been beautiful and inspiring!
I’m sharing a tag inspired by the Day One tag by Sharon Harnist. I simplified her tag considerably!
Although I first considered paper-piecing the skating couple, an October Afternoon stamp, I colored them with Copics. I finished the tag off with a shimmery ribbon tied at the top with twine and some silver bells.
Copics: E35, E37 (man’s jacket); B95, B97 (man’s pants); YR000 (skin); R35, R46, R39 (woman’s jacket); G24, YG67 (woman’s skirt); C3, C5 (skates); Y23, E33 (woman’s hair)
Supplies: Stampin’ Up cardstock (red); Spellbinders circle die; Michaels ribbon
Love the tags Jean!
This tag is adorable. I love how you included every Copic marker colour you used and what you used them for…so useful for us “Copic challenged” people!
Awesome coloring … and I love those jingle bells.
I just LOVE the skating couple!
Great tag:)
I love this tag. I can’t color so I am so jealous. There is a lot of interest, yet yo kept it clean!
Jean, your details always amaze me! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with all of us and for participating in our 12 Tags!!! -Ellen
