I’m sharing another tag I made for the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist Challenge over at Ellen Hutson‘s. My head has been swimming with ideas from the tags shared thus far. I went in a couple of directions before creating this tag inspired by the Day Four tag by Jennifer McGuire. I was also inspired by the Day Two tag by Claudine Hellmuth, which includes sheet music. Because I had a kraft background, I decided to color the bird blue (just the opposite of Jennifer’s tag). Even though the stamp I used for the bird isn’t specifically Christmas-y, I decided to “go with it”! And with our gray skies here in the Pacific Northwest, the blues and pinks added some much needed color to my world! Like Jennifer’s tag, I went with “Joy” as my sentiment.
Copics: E35 (branch), RV23, RV29, RV 25 (flowers); YG03 (leaves); Y17 (bird’s beak and flowers’ centers); B0000, B02 (bird)
Supplies: 5/8″ circle punch; Fiskars border punch; Twinery twine; May Arts twine
Very sweet.
What a sweet, happy tag!
I love the pop of blue on your tag! So cute!
Wow … love everything about this one … all the elements work together so beautifully.
