Merry Monday: Silent Night

Today I’m sharing a card created for the Merry Monday Challenge. The theme this week is Silent Night.

I was drawn to the lovely scene of houses in the woods. I decided to make just one house red (Home & Hearth by Ellen Hutson) so as not to overpower the tranquility of the scene. I used Lawn Fawn stitched hills for the snowbanks.

I really enjoy crafting to themes like this, especially during the holidays. There’s some great inspiration from the DT over at Merry Monday.

  1. This is so pretty….a bright contemporary take on the challenge photo, and I am pretty sure now I HAVE to break down and get those stitched hillside dies….they are so versatile! Thanks for playing with my Merry Monday challenge this week!

  2. Hi Jean! Somehow this card got past me, but then I saw it at Online Card Classes Gallery. I’m in! WooHoo! Can’t wait for class to start. Your card is so neat. Love the clean lines, the red house and the pretty snow. Love the scene!
