Today, I’m sharing a window card, based on one shown by Jennifer McGuire in the Online Card Classes Holiday Card Workshop 2014, that uses partial die cutting. My take on Jennifer’s card features the deer from the Lawn Fawn Party Animals set:
I stamped the deer on cardstock and then used its companion die to cut it out partway. I then partially cut the circle with a die. I did need to do some minor trimming at the point where the two met. It took more than one try to get this to work out to my satisfaction!
I colored the deer with Copics and cut the panel with a die from the Lawn Cuts Large Stitched Rectangle set.
On a different panel, I heat-embossed a sentiment from Chit Chat with white embossing powder and applied Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks. I attached the panel with the deer to the background panel with dimensional adhesive.

Love this technique and you showed it off perfectly.
