Hello! Late August signals back-to-school, and I’ve been seeing lots of posts about first days of school and sons and daughters headed to college. Our youngest son left for college this time of year five years ago (time really doesn’t fly!). He’s finished with college now, so we don’t have any back-to-schoolers in the house. That doesn’t mean I can’t remember what those transitions felt like, and with that type of transition in mind, I created this card with Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.
The Mom + Me set was released for Mother’s Day; I repurposed the owl with her owlet as a card for a son or daughter (perfect, really, for just about any time!). I kept the colors gender neutral (and sort of outdoorsy).
Supplies:
Hoot hoot, beautiful card
Love your work!
Hugs, Frieda
Such a cute scene! Love this!
Fabulous scene Jean. Love that lil hug.
How sweet! I’d go ahead and send it to your “kids” now! They always like to know we’re thinking of them. Love the owls, and those mountains are awesome!
What a cute card Jean. I love the owls and your colouring on them is superb. Love how you did the mountains too.
It’s like the song!
And OOoooooooUUooOowl always love you!!
