Hello! Welcome to Day 3 of the Taylored Expressions September Sneak Peeks. With this release, Taylored Expressions is celebrating its 8th birthday with some fun party favors! Today, I’m sharing two cards: a fall-themed one and a birthday-themed one! Let’s start with my decorated fall door using Door to Door Fall Decor.
I tried a number of different colored doors cut with the Door to Door set and this red one made me happy! (So much so that I think I need to paint our front door this color.) I decorated the door with foliage and a wreath cut with the Door to Door Fall Decor set (which includes the squirrel) and Little Bits – Fall Harvest. I put vellum behind the Door to Door Molding to soften the patterned paper (Playful Patterns – Harvest) and to simulate glass. I stamped a sentiment from Pumpkin Bouquet on to coordinating paper from the same patterned paper pack.

My birthday-themed card showcases the Candle Numbers die set.
I chose “29” since it’s often used as the age for birthday wishes in which the actual age of the recipient isn’t discussed. Aren’t these candles fun? I cut the cake with the Build a Cake set from paper in TE 6×6 Paper Pack – Hello Happiness. I added embellishments cut with the Little Bits – Sequins Confetti and Little Bits – Sprinkles Confetti sets. The sentiment is from Simply Stamped – Cupcakes.

Love the birthday cake with the number candles. It is my favorite card made with this die cut so far. The fall doir card reminds me that I need to buy that set. Great cards.

That first card is BREATHTAKING with that fabulous door and the way you made the windows surrounding it. That cake looks so pretty with the fun polka dots. Great card designs!

I love the red door too, Jean. It makes a wonderful, happy statement! Beautiful cards, Beautiful release. Fall is my favorite time of the year even though the trees on my island do not change color. I remember living in Virginia and loving fall so much! Again, wonderful release!

Probably my favorite line of Taylor’s from the last year is the Door to Door line and to see how inventive you were with the decorations on this one made me smile. Our door is red as well and I love it. I enjoyed the cake and the 29 but I have a special place in my card making heart for the Build a Scene and Door to Door line.
