Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS card featuring the Memory Box Deco Trees; I used the die to create a stencil.
To begin, I heat-embossed the sentiment from Hero Arts Christmas Messages with Red Geranium embossing powder. I cut triangles the size of the trees in the die set from Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper. I covered the heat-embossed panel, where I wanted to add the trees, with the masks, and I applied ink using the My Favorite Things Drifts & Hill stencil.
The die cuts all of the trees at the same time, (I used the Memory Box Deco Trees die in the second card in this post), but I wanted to place the trees apart from one another. To create the stencil, I cut the Memory Box Deco Trees die from several Crafter’s Workshop 6×6 Blank Stencil Sheets. I applied Translucent Embossing Paste through the stencil. As the paste was applied, I shook on the Clear Rock Candy Dry Glitter. I had to wait for the tree closer to the center, on the right-hand side, to dry before adding the tree on the far right.
Supplies:
This is gorgeous!! I love the blue sky against the red card stock. I also like how those trees came out with the embossing paste. So cool!!
Just love your sparkly trio of trees, Jean! So pretty against the blended sky!!
that red and blue is so impactful, and your glittery trees are the perfect off set.
